Our contribution to less plastic
Awareness of the impact of plastic on the environment has certainly increased recently. We’re working on what we can do to help. So far we’ve come up with three initiatives. We’re really keen to help and support anyone who wants to reduce plastic use, so do get in touch if you’d like to join in.
Coffee Cup paper
This paper is called Extract and the pulp contains paper upcycled from used disposable coffee cups. It’s a great way of recycling some of the 4,861 cups that are used a minute in the UK. Please contact us if you'd like to find out more about this amazing paper.
Ecoboard not forex
Ecoboard is a resilient recycled greyboard which is an alternative to plastic forex. It’s lighter, cheaper and easier to handle than forex too. Being essentially a strong cardboard it’s not great for outdoor applications where it could get damp, but it’s certainly ideal for indoor displays.
Wood exhibition stands
We’re experimenting with making our own wooden frames as an alternative to using mass production pop up systems which contain both aluminium and plastic. They work well with Ecoboard panels and are very cost effective. Take a look at a prototype in the display above.
